Tokyo, May 23, 2017 – Valeo Japan announced Ali Ordoobadi is appointed as President and Representative Director of Valeo Japan Co., Ltd. Ordoobadi is to assume this new assignment effective June 30th 2017. He replaces Ryuji Saito who will retire and has held this position since 2012. Ordoobadi, currently President and Representative Director of Ichikoh Industries, will become Chairman, CEO and Representative Director of Ichikoh effective on June 28th. By heading both Valeo Japan and Ichikoh Industries, Ordoobadi will lead Valeo in Japan as one team.

After joining Valeo in 1988 in France, Ordoobadi has been appointed Group Vice President China in 1999. In September 2007, he moved to Tokyo as Valeo Group Vice President Japan. In October 2010, Ordoobadi joined Ichikoh Industries as President and Representative Director.
